Upload files & folders to Google Drive

Upload & find files

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Drive app.
  2. Tap Add Add question and then File upload.
  3. Find and tap the files you want to upload.

  1. To select the file upload location, tap Location.
    • Select the folder where you want the file to go.

Tips:

  • If you upload a single file, you can find the:
    • File thumbnail
    • Name
    • Upload location on the "Upload to Drive" screen
  • If you upload multiple files, the location field is at the bottom of the "Upload to Drive" screen.
  1. To rename the file:
    1. Tap File Name.
    2. Enter the new file name.
  2. Tap Upload.
